Now this is one (or actually, two) for lovers of contemporary art. The Casa Dell Arte yachts are owned by the foremost collector of Turkish contemporary art.
And not only does he populate his eponymous boutique hotel near Bodrum with original and rotating exhibitions, he also hangs original works on board his two yachts. The Büyükkuşoğlu family were - and are - such avid collectors that they transformed their seaside house into a charming hotel and built two yachts for their and their guests' enjoyment.
Of course with the pedigree of efficient hotel management and chefs who will all-but kill to work for them there is no compromise of quality on board and the menus and service given by the crew are peerless.
Accommodating ten guests each the vessels are hugely comfortable. CdA I is slightly smaller and older than CdA II but no expense is spared on outfit or maintenance and the yachts are a credit to contemporary Turkish craftsmanship.
The boats have been built as comfortable sailing yachts but, according to the Turkish manner, they sport a pair each of powerful engines giving good performance under motor and the best of both worlds.
Huge deck space and clever touches such as carefully concealed speakers to enjoy your choice of music whilst sunbathing make these attractive and stylish alternatives to the traditional Turkish Gulet.
Combining a week on board with a few days at the Casa Dell Arte hotel would make a perfectly relaxing 10 night break.
